Project Overview
Avant-Garde is a custom-built headless shopping platform designed to reflect the unique, brutalist identity of a high-end fashion label, escaping the rigid constraints of traditional Shopify templates.
The Challenge
Creating a highly unconventional, editorial layout with overlapping grid elements and large typography, while maintaining a flawless and trustworthy e-commerce checkout flow.
The Approach
I developed a headless architecture using Next.js for lightning-fast page loads. The frontend is decoupled from the backend inventory system, allowing complete creative freedom. The checkout flow is powered securely by Stripe Elements.
